The Effect of Interface Damage between Slab and Mortar Layer on the Dynamic Performances of Vehicle and Track Systems under the High Frequency Train Loads

To investigate the influences of through-transverse mortar disengagement with different lengths and heights on dynamic responses vehicle track systems under high frequency train loads, a coupled rigid vehicle–flexible multi-body dynamics (MBD) model was established in SIMPACK platforms help ANSYS software. The results indicate that when length is no more than 1 m, are hardly influenced by an increase rate 10% except for slab displacement. When LMD reaches 1.5 maximum displacement exceeds safety limit 0.5 mm. vertical wheel–rail contact force rail exceed 2 m height most rates induced 190% 272% regards to longitudinal tension stress slab, respectively, which significantly detrimental service life slab. proposed approach has potential preliminarily determine critical size, conductive relieving pressure maintenance while ensuring structures operation riding comfort vehicle.
